Arang Kel is a village of wooden houses on a meadow above Kel, reached by a cable car across the river and a steep walk of about an hour and a half.
From Kel the cable car crosses the river, and a steep path climbs through forest to the village. Some visitors hire a porter or a horse. It is quiet and unhurried, and worth more than an afternoon.
