The Rakaposhi and Patundas Trek is a multi-day hiking trail in the northern region of Pakistan, combining two of the most popular trekking destinations in the area. This trek offers an opportunity to experience the natural beauty and cultural richness of the region, and to see some of the most stunning landscapes in Pakistan.
The trek starts in the small town of Minapin and makes its way up the base camp, passing through picturesque villages and lush green forests, to reach the base camp of Rakaposhi. After returning back to Minapin village, drive to Borith village in upper Hunza, from there, the trek starts towards the Patundas meadows, where trekkers will pass through a beautiful white glacier “Passu glacier” to reach the Patundas Meadows.
The highlight of the Rakaposhi and Patundas Trek is the opportunity to see some of the most iconic peaks in the region: Rakaposhi and Diran, with its towering height and impressive glaciers, and Shishper and Passu peaks in the Upper Hunza Valley. Trekkers will also have the chance to explore the surrounding landscape, which includes verdant valleys, pristine streams, and towering peaks.

Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival to Islamabad airport,our guide and driver will meet you here and take you to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Drive to Chilas on Karakoram Highway OR Babusar Pass (via Naran valley) if the pass is open.
Day 03: Drive to Minappin, Nagar. overnight in Guest House
Day 04: Trek to Rakaposhi Base Camp. overnight in tent
Day 05: Trek to Diran Base Camp and back to Rakaposhi Base Camp. overnight in tent
Day 06: Trek back to Minappin village and drive to Karimabad. overnight in Hotel
Day 07: Rest day / Preparation day for Patundas Trek. overnight in Hotel
Day 08: Drive to Borith and start the trek to Lazdur. overnight in tent.
Day 09: Trek to Patundas Meadows, overnight in tent.
Day 10: Trek to base camp of Shisper Peak 7611m and Passu Peak (Passu sar) 7478m. overnight in tent
Day 11: Trek Down to lazdur/Passu gar/Khuck. overnight in tent
Day 12: Trek down to Borith and drive to the hotel in Gumit. overnight in Hotel
Day 13: Rest Day / Explore around
Day 14: Day excursion to Khunjerab Pass. overnight in hotel.
Day 15: Drive to Besham/Naran. overnight in hotel
Day 16: Drive to Islamabad and fly to your destination.
