Broad Peak is a mountain located in the Karakoram range on the border of Pakistan and China. It is the 12th highest peak in the world and is considered one of the most challenging peaks to climb. The first successful ascent of Broad Peak was made in June 1957 by an Austrian team. Since then, several climbing expeditions have been organized to conquer the mountain, and it remains a popular destination for professional and amateur mountaineers. The climbing season for Broad Peak is typically from June to August.
